Oh yes, totally re-modeled… flat screen tv with cable, new shower and other bathroom fixtures. It should be very nice for quite a few years now, so make that your stop on your next trip through. I thought about camping at the caves like, we did several years ago, but dang it was cold, so I took my chances with a motel and was very pleased.

If I didn’t already know you are not prone to hyperbole, I would never believe Austin had a remodeled motel or even mediocre rooms! I’ve stayed in Austin 2-3 times, always with a roach swatter in hand and wearing shoes into the shower. I’m glad your experience was better! Enjoy your road trip! We are jealous …
