Leaving Rhyolite, I entered Death Valley National Park and took the road to go through Titus Canyon. This is a one-way 27 mile long road through the Grapevine Mountains and ends in the Beautiful Titus Canyon, with it’s massive walls towering over you. Along the way you pass Leadfield Ghost Town, remnants from mining days 100 years ago. There are also a few petroglyphs at Klare Spring, but I saw the sign more than anything. The canyon was beautiful, I think I’d like to see it in spring when the desert flowers bloom.
